REMOTE AND HYBRID WORKING TRAINING FOR ORGANISATIONS
ABOUT OUR REMOTE & HYBRID WORKING COURSE
This training module covers how to implement a remote working strategy. It will help organisations, that the COVID pandemic forced to quickly move to remote working, assess their next steps and what working model is right for both employees and employers in the long-term. While many want to retain a level of flexible working, hybrid and remote working aren’t for every organisation or individual.
Here at Chiumento we were very early adopters of a remote working strategy. What we learned – and other organisations can gain from – is the changes we had to make to our people strategy and leadership capability to successfully implement a remote working strategy.

Why choose Chiumento for your session on how to implement a remote working strategy?
In 2010 we made the decision to move to a fully remote working model. In 2017 we achieved this goal, during the intervening 7 years we assessed every aspect of the move and the impact, both positive and negative it would have. We ensured we had the right technology in place so everyone could access everything they needed, regardless of location. We gradually increased the percentage of staff working remotely vs working in the office. We tested our recruitment process to ensure we could recruit the people we needed and only when we were sure it all worked did we close our final office.
We made some mistakes and learnt a lot along the way which is why we think we are in an ideal place to share our knowledge and experience to help other organisations successfully answer the question ‘how to implement a remote working strategy.’
