Definitions

“The Company” or “The Organisation” shall mean Aldeburgh Holdings Limited and/or any of its subsidiaries. “Individual” and/or “employee” shall mean an employee of Aldeburgh Holdings Limited or any of its subsidiaries

Scope: This policy applies to all employees of Aldeburgh Holdings and any subsidiary companies.

Responsibilities 

Management Responsibilities: 

  • Lead by example in promoting ED&I. 
  • Implement and monitor the effectiveness of this policy. 
  • Provide training and resources to support ED&I initiatives. 

Employee Responsibilities: 

  • Treat colleagues and customers with respect and dignity. 
  • Report any instances of discrimination, harassment, or bullying. 
  • Participate in ED&I training and initiatives. 

Implementation 

Recruitment and Selection: 

  • Ensure our recruitment processes are fair, transparent, and promote diversity. 
  • Use inclusive language in job advertisements. 
  • Shortlist and interview candidates based on objective criteria. 

Training and Development: 

  • Provide regular ED&I training for all employees. 
  • Offer development opportunities that are accessible to everyone. 

Workplace Environment: 

  • Foster a culture of respect and inclusion. 
  • Make reasonable adjustments for employees with disabilities. 
  • Address any inappropriate behaviour promptly and effectively. 

Monitoring and Reporting: 

  • Regularly review our policies and practices to ensure they promote ED&I. 
  • Collect and analyse data on workforce diversity. 
  • Report on our ED&I performance and progress. 

Reporting Concerns 

We encourage employees to report any concerns related to discrimination, harassment, or bullying. Reports can be made in confidence to:

We will investigate all reports thoroughly and take appropriate action to address any issues identified. 

Breach of Policy 

Any breaches of this policy will be taken seriously and may result in disciplinary action, including termination of employment or contracts. 

Review of Policy 

We will review this policy annually to ensure it remains relevant and effective in promoting equality, diversity, and inclusion within our organisation.
